Bringing new life to an iconic Seattle landmark
The Challenge
Thriving in a competitive landscape
The Melbourne came to Bonsai with a concern: Competing with state-of-the-art commercial buildings in a competitive market.
The ability to be easily found online in a competitive market was a key component to their business strategy. Unfortunately, their existing website was outdated and not ranking on 1st page search results. In order to drive online awareness, they required a website that is built with SEO best practices, provides a great user experience (UX), highlights surrounding city amenities, and drives leads.
Our Approach
Elevating The Melbourne
Recreating the Melbourne's brand and web design strategy was a collaborative effort. We focused on its prime location at the center of Downtown Seattle. The perfect location for public transportation, shopping, entertainment, and cultural venues. The shapes of downtown streets, seemingly converging at this central point, provided our creative inspiration.
The Bonsai team conducted comprehensive research on competition, target personas, and the local area to inform our web design strategy. Our website showcases The Melbourne as "The Hub" of all things Seattle, encompassing retail, transportation, culture, and entertainment. We emphasized the building's abundant natural light and unique character, integrating numerous interactive elements for enhanced engagement.
The result is a high-performance website that allows prospective customers to easily recognize the value and benefits of The Melbourne. Clear call-to-action (CTA) buttons facilitate inquiries, driving leads and open up new opportunities for The Melbourne.
