Holy Names is one of the oldest and most renowned private academies, founded in the late 1800’s and located in the heart of Seattle. As an all girls catholic school, their target audience is somewhat specific, meaning they were needing help digitally reaching their potential students and families.
They are passionate about developing strong leaders in an environment rich with inclusion, collaboration and community. Values that we too, hold close to our organization. It was essential that we reflected this in their new website, as well as making it accessible for all types of visitors.
At first, Holy Names was interested in implementing local SEO for their existing site. But after further consideration, it was decided that a newly developed website would greatly enhance their results. We took mobile optimization, ranking factors, and effective design into consideration when crafting their new site.
Simultaneously, our digital strategists were researching the target audience, creating focus that would optimize Holy Name’s search results on Google.
We knew that a new website, and our local SEO package would be a dangerously successful duo. Using them together, our goal was to accurately reflect the enlightening educational experience hundreds of young women receive each year at Holy Names Academy.
With the combination of a newly renovated site and the implementation of local SEO, the results speak for themselves. This website was all about showcasing the bright and potential filled faces that make the school special.
Holy Names Academy's new site includes an informational design to seamlessly attract potential students. Yet every variety of visitor was specially considered. Including those wishing to donate, stay up to date with current school events, or learn about their academic programs, history, and mission.
Through smart and effective design and strategy, Holy Names saw a significant increase in information requests, decrease in bounce rates, and overall increased web traffic. They also went from 2nd page search results to the top of the 1st page for their specific keywords "Seattle all girls school" and "Seattle catholic school."
