After starting his career at MTV in New York, Mike Johnston has written and directed commercials for some of the largest brands in the world. He has led digital agencies, traditional agencies and production companies. Mike has supervised the strategic planning and execution of numerous campaigns, many earning national awards including Emmys, Tellys and the EPA Campaign of the Year (twice). One campaign Mike oversaw for the University of Washington raised more than $2.5 billion. Several of his articles have been featured on the homepage of Medium as Editor’s Picks, and he is a compendium member of the Northwest Screenwriters Guild.
